The ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA Program is the result of a long-lasting, close cooperation between the renowned French business school ESSEC and the Mannheim Business School. It was designed to reach one goal: Prepare executives for the challenges of leadership. The program provides successful managers having a professional experience of at least five years with a world-class executive education. The curriculum comprises a sophisticated set of elements that will, in combination, help you to reach your goal as you aim for the highest executive positions. The interplay of elements – including, among others, individual work, international residencies, and conferences – enable program participants to acquire an integrated and systematic perspective on European and international business matters. The concept provides innovative approaches to decision-making and problem-solving process and enables participants to refine their key skills: communications, people management, leadership, and teamwork. Besides the regular course modules, an “Entrepreneurial Project”, a “Class Project”, international residencies, conferences with high-calibre senior experts and coaching sessions for individuals and groups are important elements of the curriculum. Occupational field/ Target audience
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with exceptional academic record
- 5 to 15 years of work experience subsequent to first degree
- potential for higher management positions
- recommended: GMAT-score (min. 600)
- mandatory: very good English knowledge TOEFL; 110 points (internet based version) or 230 points (computer based version), we additionally welcome GRE test scores - 2 letters of references
Focus / Curriculum
The weekend format started in March 2006. It is a 22-month course of studies, which is also aimed at graduate-level managers who have at least five years of professional experience. It comprises 33 weekend modules, which take place in Mannheim every other week on Fridays and Saturdays. Additionally, there will be several four- to five-day residencies at partner institutions abroad. Not only is the program international, but the participants are as well. You learn and work in a multicultural community that promotes the understanding of different perspectives. The various education and professional backgrounds of our program participants open up new ways of thinking – a crucial aspect of self-development and career advancement in today’s global world.
