Executive Master of Laws (LL.M.) im Gesellschaftsrecht

The "Lichtensteinische Gesellschaftsrecht" indicates itself through a wide range and high mass of liberalism. This offers the principality an exceptional position against competition.

These European general conditions  present new requirements  for the university education and legal professionals.  Therefore, beginning in September 2007, Hochschule Liechtenstein offers a three semester long Executive Master's program in "corporate law" , which will not only cover the Liechtenstein law but also the European and international society laws.

The participants not only acquire basic and detailed knowledge but are also given advice in law. Graduates have a future-ready qualification without being dependent on the Liechtenstein University. The university wants to be a part of the international occupational mobility with the Executive Masters Program while following the Bologna declaration.


Occupational field/ Target audience

This program directs itself toward academics with law degrees and at least 3 years of job experience who want to gain additional qualifications in the area of corporate law.


Focus / Curriculum

Liechtenstein foundations and establishments build the topic of the course that is similar to those in Austria and Switzerland. The stock corporation law is offered through the guidelines of the EG and the SE. The Liechtenstein trust is taught in parallel with law and anglo American trust. An introduction in the US-American corporate law rounds out the basic program. In the context of internationality, modules from asset protection as well as tax law and accounting are to be seen. It is also with a look at target groups of programs essential to offer a co-operation between criminal and civil cases - for economics and in fighting money laundering for due diligence as well as for the financial market. At last, the program is also offers superficial qualification, for example in the area of co-operation and conflict behavior but also communication and rhetoric.
