Global MBA

The Global MBA has raised the benchmark for online MBA programs. The program includes the full MBA syllabus, and a highly innovative online methodology where our professors, themselves experts in their fields, and technology combine to enhance the learning experience, furthering their skills and career prospects. An intrinsic part of the Global MBA is the global network of IE alumni, opening the door for students to the wider international business community. Emerging from the need of today's business professionals for creative thinking, teamwork, and a global contact network the Global MBA is a part-time program that can be followed from anywhere in the world. Aimed at young professionals, the Global MBA is ideal for those wanting to pursue their careers and an MBA concurrently; lasting 16 months, the program allows the maximum flexibility required to study and work at the same time. The title granted is identical to that given after studying a full-time MBA with IE.

A typical candidate for the Global MBA online program would have valuable work experience and would not wish to break their successful career by taking up to two years out to study an MBA on campus.

Using both the Global virtual campus (with asynchronous online sessions and live interactive video sessions) and face-to-face integration days around the world, the Global MBA is second to none in modern business education.

Structure:

The Global MBA experience is structured around progressive learning processes, starting with fundamentals of management know-how, followed by the integration of the different areas in order to gain an overall view of company management and to see the interrelations between each of them.

Using the Global MBA Virtual Campus, participants access the Asynchronous Online Sessions ( a mix of forums and multimedia tools), conducted Monday through Thursday at the participant’s convenience and Live Interactive Video Sessions conducted on Saturday, allowing them to participate in Learning & Development Programs from anywhere in the world.

In addition to providing geographic mobility, the Global MBA Portal introduces participants to an international network of peers working around the globe.

Throughout the year face-to-face sessions are offered in various cities all over the world, with students being required to attend a minimum of two during the course of the program. Conducted over 2 days, these sessions allow participants to experience management skills workshops, meet professors and other program participants and to network in person. These sessions also allow participants to experience other cities and cultures both on a business and a social level, as well as Community Integration Events, in which participants meet members of the regional business community and address current business challenges, both in the region and worldwide.
