MBA Change ManagementThe objective of the MBA Change Management of the University of Augsburg is to equip managers, consultants and HR-experts with the competency to manage complex change processes. In 16 modules and two living case problem solving seminars participants learn in 22 months how to manage change on the personal, the team and the organizational level. Topics covered include coaching, team coaching and strategic change process architectures, measuring the success of change projects, systemic leadership and more. International experience is provided by a weeklong seminar at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA. Next course start: October, 2010.

Focus / Curriculum
Learning structure and concept: The participants in the Augsburg MBA-Program learn to manage challenges in change management. During the week in Baltimore the students from the Augsburg MBA are working with local business students on authentic problems in mixed teams. In return, Johns Hopkins students visit Augsburg to participate in a second project week. MBA students enrol in the program in a closed cohort of 20 students. In combination with team building activities, self organized learning teams and the support of an online platform the cohort structure fosters the development of a high energy lerning community. The program is completed with a master thesis in which the students are asked to scientifically reflect issues form their professional work environment. The faculty of the MBA encompasses academics as well as expert practitioners.
