Based on its close relationship with the École des ponts, France’s oldest and one of its most prestigious engineering Grandes Écoles, as well as the ParisTech network of Grandes Écoles, the ENPC School of International Management offers an MBA with a specialization in technology and entrepreneurship. The MBA in T&E is directed at forward-thinking ‘ideas people’, who want to gain expert knowledge on product innovation, development and design, or are evolving from technology specialists to technology managers, or perhaps have a strong interest in setting up their own business.
It is our main goal to match your individual career needs with academic choices. Therefore, only a minority of all courses offered are compulsory, making our curriculum very flexible. Additionally, we accompany you through your MBA experience with ongoing one-on-one advising by permanent faculty. Thus, we provide a dynamic learning environment composed of classes, seminars, workshops and business simulations taught by top international faculty from the highest ranking business schools and universities in the world. Study trips and corporate presentations complement this program.
Focus / Curriculum
Based on its close relationship with the École des ponts, France’s oldest and one of its most prestigious engineering Grandes Écoles, as well as the ParisTech network of Grandes Écoles, the ENPC School of International Management offers an MBA with a specialization in technology and entrepreneurship. The MBA in T&E is directed at forward-thinking ‘ideas people’, who want to gain expert knowledge on product innovation, development and design, or are evolving from technology specialists to technology managers, or perhaps have a strong interest in setting up their own business.
The MBA in T&E covers 35 courses in five main study tracks. Courses are mainly taught over one full week (1 credit) or over one half week (0.5 credits). In order to graduate with an MBA in T&E participants are required to take a minimum of six credits from the Technology & Entrepreneurship track, and a minimum of 3 credits from the other four tracks. It is possible to take more than the 18 credits minimum, and most participants complete the MBA program with an average of 22 credits.
Participants are also required to complete a Professional Project on a technology- or entrepreneurship-related theme, which they do during the second semester of the program while completing their course work. Additionally, two optional study trips to the USA and to China are offered.
