Focus / Curriculum

The curriculum of the Professional MBA Tourism Management comprises a Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) and two specializations. The CBK aims at reaching a common, scientifically and economically sound level of knowledge and at ensuring the quality of the program.

The specializations are dedicated to in-depth studies in the chosen specialization: E-Tourism or Destination Management. During the last part of the specialization a Master Thesis under academic guidance must be conducted.

The MBA is organized as an executive program over four terms. A short summer break allows graduation after 18 months (full-time) or 24 months (part-time). Internationally recognized scholars convey their expertise in the form of blocked units, which are taught in English and mainly take place on weekends (approximately 14 days per semester).
