Ohm-MBA - business background (full- and part-time)

The Ohm-MBA-business background (full- and part-time) is an international-oriented post-graduate academic qualification withan MBA-degree (Master of Business Administration) in General Management. In a time period of approx. 15 or 18months the MBA participants acquire essential knowledge on centraltopics of management in an international context. The learningatmosphere of the course is international: Approx. 50 % of theparticipants come from abroad, the Master of Business Administrationlanguage of tuition and social language is exclusively English. In thisway, the intercultural and social competence can be acquired within thenormal course of the lectures.

Occupational field/ Target audience

In the conception of this course, special attention has been paid toachieving a balanced mixture of theoretical and practical aspects.Strong links to industry by means of collaboration with various localpartner companies help to establish close links to practice for our MBAstudents. In addition, guest lectures by well-known managers andexcursions serve to strengthen the practical experience. The masterthesis at the end of the course also represents an important link tothe practical business world.

Focus / Curriculum

12 international-oriented core subjects supplemented by twoelectives from a wide range of MBA specialised subjects are taught overthree terms. A master thesis is also to be prepared in English within athree month period.
